U.S. equities finished lower for the week ending July 24, 2026.<\/span><\/span> The S&P 500 declined 0.61% from its prior Friday close of 7,457.69 to 7,411.98. The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 0.38%, closing at 51,947.25 versus 52,146.42 a week earlier. The Nasdaq Composite dropped more sharply, losing 2.13% from 25,520.24 to 24,975.82, pressured by weakness in technology and AI-related shares. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

International stocks, tracked via the VXUS ETF, were essentially flat, edging up roughly 0.04% for the week to close at 83.40. In the bond market, the 10-year Treasury yield rose about 14 basis points, moving from around 4.55% to approximately 4.68\u20134.69%.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
